the weather
yesterday i realized the kind of weather that i really like.
you have some people who really like it when it’s sunny and bright and beautiful and the bluebirds land on your shoulder. you also have those who like it when it’s rainy, stormy, gloomy, etc., like jessica and mark.
i, however, love it when you’re driving down the highway and the sun is shining brightly on the road, but the sky is extremely dark. it’s almost as though some sort of impossible contradiction of nature is occurring, causing one tiny hole in the clouds to make the ground impossibly green and bright, while the sky is grey and dark.
the contrast is absolutely amazing — like eating a chocolate covered pretzel. salty, yet sweet at the same time.
